Melinda Paige, Ph.D., LPC, CPCS, NCC,

Dr. Paige is a Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor with over twenty years of clinical experience serving survivors of trauma and providing trauma mental health training and consultancy. She is the Founder of the Institute for Trauma Competency. She is a Counselor Educator at Southern New Hampshire University and a subject matter expert for trauma impact and counseling curricula. She was the recipient of the Chi Sigma Iota International Outstanding Practitioner award in 2014, the American Counseling Association Professional Development Award in 2018, and the Chi Sigma Iota International Outstanding Faculty Award in 2018. Dr. Paige has published and presented nationally on trauma competency, and protective factors for vicarious trauma and self-injury.
